چکیده

Isoscalar collective modes in a relativistic meson-nucleon system are investigated in the framework of the time-dependent Thomas-Fermi method. The energies of the collective modes are determined by solving consistently the dispersion relations and the boundary conditions. The energy weighted sum rule satisfied by the model allows the identification of the giant ressonances. The percentage of the energy weighted sum rule exhausted by the collective modes is in agreement with experimental data, but the energies come too high. N ov 2 00 6 Landau parameters for isospin asymmetric nuclear matter based on a relativistic model of composite and finite extension nucleons ∗

We study the properties of cold asymmetric nuclear matter at high density, applying the quark meson coupling model with excluded volume corrections in the framework of the Landau theory of relativistic Fermi liquids. We discuss the role of the finite spatial extension of composite baryons on dynamical and statistical properties such as the Landau parameters, the compressibility, and the symmetr...

On growth of spinodal instabilities in nuclear matter

Abstract Early growth of density fluctuations of nuclear matter in spinodal region is investigated employing the stochastic mean-field approach. In contrast to the earlier treatments in which only collective modes were included in the calculations, in the present work non-collective modes are also included, thus providing a complete treatment of the density correlation functions. Calculations a...

Mesonic and Binding Contributions to the Emc Effect in a Relativistic Many Body Approach

We revise the conventional nuclear effects of Fermi motion, binding and pionic effects in deep inelastic lepton scattering using a relativistic formalism for an interacting Fermi sea and the local density approximation to translate results from nuclear matter to finite nuclei. In addition we also consider effects from ρ-meson renormalization in the nucleus. The use of nucleon Green’s functions ...
